The Blue Camellia Club and the Encyclopaedia Aristasiana are experiencing some technical difficulties, but we expect them to be back very soon.
Meanwhile you can post comments here!
The meetings at the White Rose Room will take place on Saturday and Sunday as usual, at 10 p.m. GMT (see here for times across the world).

It is good that our discourse can transfer to here in times of emergency. I hope the other pettes have found this!
Madam Webmistress – have more of us been over here today according to your statistics?

Thank heaven we have this place to come to in times of trouble! Are the rest of you darlings here? Do put up a squeak and tell me I am not alone!

It sort of reminds me of a wartime air-raid shelter here!
Here we all are, temporarily evacuated from our real online home. It is funny that we were talking about the nature of war when the Club broke.
I think this illustrates the nature of “war” as we have known it. Whether the break-down of the Blue Camellia servers is an act of war I do not know, but there have been some undeniable acts of war in Elektra – like the night when 73 outlanders invaded the Blue Camellia Club, the White Rose Room and other Aristasian Elektra installations with obscenities, or when Aristasian installations in Virtualia were vandalised. These things often happened around important times for Aristasia and on some occasions Motor vehicles and other Aristasian property were attacked on Telluri-level.
We have no wish to shoot at the unwitting agents of darkness who perform these acts, or even to return their destructive acts. Our part in the war is to keep the work of the Bridgehead going through all attacks. What the darkness wants is to stop us and our aim is to keep moving forward. That is all. No fighting; no burning or killing; not even any harsh and angry words (at least not from us).
Our mission in Telluria is not to attack Telluria or Tellurians but to carry the Light into places of darkness and to redress, on the psychic, and perhaps also the Spiritual, plane, the overbalance of masculism.
There are forces of darkness that are out to stop us; but our part has never been to harm or retaliate against the human agents of these forces, but to continue with our work of spreading the light, overcoming each obstacle placed in our path with courage, determination and good will.

After a slowish start we have had quite a rush of visitors this afternoon and evening. It is disappointing the Club is still down, but we will hope for better news tomorrow.

What a relief. And what kind and uplifting words, Miss Sorciere.
I miss you all, darlings.
Love and kisses!

It’s a good relief to find this lovely place!! I tried to look at the Blue Camellia yesterday and I found a tutorial about Linux…useful indeed, but not what I expected to see! Luckily we have this shelter, as Mademoiselle Petite Sorciere says!

hullo to all of you wonderful ladies. i am posting this here because i am having difficulty with the blue camellia forums. i dearly hope this is not seen as intrusive!
my name is emily though funnily enough i have always used the name miss maudlin when performing on stage. i have been interested in aristasia for a little while now but unfortunately i do not think that i have the stuff to be amongst you, not comfortablie in any case. as a sideshow entertainer who comes from a long hereditary line of circus and carnival workers i love my world of travels and traditional circus far too much, and so i am most likely automatically on the outs or so i would imagine myself to be amongst such sophisticated maids.
but the reason i am posting here is to briefly offer some information concerning red hair and the constant question of its place in a society of chelani and melani maids. interestingly enough the gene which causes red hair exists on a different chromosome than the genes which determine if a person has either brunette or blonde hair. it is sort of a modifier to those two colors as it were. therefore someone with bright red hair actually has the gene for blonde hair which is being modified by a separate gene for red, while someone with a dark auburn has the gene for brunette hair which is being modified by the separate red gene as well. this is why two red haired individuals will not always produce red haired children, often producing blonde children instead since technically both parents simply have modified blonde hair.
i just hoped to pop in and offer up the information. it might help next time someone gets up in arms about their red hair. i love reading these forums. it is a secret pleasure of mine, in fact! honor to all of you, and all that you deserve as well.
